Suining, a prefecture level city in Sichuan Province, also known as Doucheng or Suizhou, is located in the central part of the Sichuan Basin. It is a regional center city in the Chengdu Chongqing Economic Zone, a modern industrial base in Sichuan Province, and a modern ecological garden city characterized by the culture of “nurturing the heart”. To the west is Chengdu, to the east is Chongqing, Guang’an, and Nanchong, to the south is Neijiang and Ziyang, and to the north is Deyang and Mianyang, forming an equidistant triangle with Chengdu and Chongqing. Located on the main axis of urbanization development in Sichuan Province, it is one of the “six major urban areas” strategically deployed and constructed in Sichuan Province, and an important component of the Chengdu Economic Circle and Chengdu Plain Urban Agglomeration.
