Jinhua bridge, formerly known as Duanli bridge, is located on the Bank of Shenkeng River in the northeast of the foot of Wawu mountain. It is a wooden trestle made of large fir trees. It crosses Shenkeng River and looks very similar to the “Jinhua” inserted on the ancient official hat from a distance. Therefore, it is called Jinhua bridge. It is also the gate of Wawu mountain, the tourist service center and the location of Wawu Shanju hotel. It is said that when the bridge was built for the first time in ancient times, there was a conflict between the monks and craftsmen who crossed the bridge. When the county magistrate decided the case, he said, “give half the money each.” so he ordered the bridge to be named Duanli bridge.
